Subject: Parking Restrictions and Road Closures Notice
The Bloomsburg Police Department is notifying all residents that UGI will be conducting a natural gas replacement project in the Town of Bloomsburg. The project begins Monday, March 15, 2021 and should be completed by the end of May 2021. The streets involved in this project are:
West Street, between West Fourth Street and West Main Street
West Fourth Street, between West Street and Market Street
West Third Street, between West Street and Market Street
During the duration of this project, residents can expect there will be parking restrictions, road closures and detours at different times of the project. UGI will post those areas where parking restrictions are in place no less than twelve hours in advance of the restricted parking. Those vehicles that are found in restricted parking areas and in conflict with the construction project may be subject to ticketing and towing at the owner’s expense.
In an effort to assist residents living on the streets listed above and allow for more parking options, the Bloomsburg Police Department will not be enforcing street maintenance days during the duration of the project on those streets.
A media release from UGI related to this project is attached. Please monitor our Facebook page and our webpages at www.bloompd.com or www.bloomsburgpa.org for information of importance to the community.
