Emergency Snow Removal of Vehicles
As with any large snowfall that brings excessive accumulation of snow, the Town's Public Works Department plows and removes snow to allow citizens, permit holders and business customers the opportunity to park and maintain a vibrant business in our community.
During the clean-up process, the Town expends a significant amount of money to remove snow and at times hires outside contractors to plow and haul snow away so you may park in a clean parking area.
The Town does have a local ordinance which is posted in each municipal parking area on snow removal. Following a snowstorm, you should check the University's Today's Page, read local newspapers or listen to area radio stations to determine the snow removal schedule for the lot where you may be parked.
Failure to remove cars will result in ticketing and towing at the owners expense.
