AUGUST 30 - SEPT 3, 2010 - CLERKS ON DUTY 8A-10P

RESIDENTIAL PERMITS ON SALE FOR TOWN RESIDENTS IN THE PERMIT AREAS: MUST BRING VEHICLE REGISTRATION CARD AND PROOF OF RESIDENCE. 8AM - 5PM.

RED METER PERMITS ARE STILL AVAILABLE, ONLY A FEW LEFT!

FOR PURCHASE AT THE BLOOMSBURG POLICE STATION from 8 AM - 4PM - MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

LIGHTSTREET ROAD RESIDENTS REMINDER: REGULATED PERMITS WILL BE REQUIRED FOR LIGHTSTREET ROAD AND NORTH STREET NOW. SEE INFO BELOW.

-Permits are available for purchase for persons living or working in the downtown area.

-Red Meter Permits may be purchased at the station for $125.00/ 6 months, for parking in the municipal lots in town at meters with a red post.

-NEW July 2010: Lightstreet Road and North Street Permits. Available for residents and business owners with a North Street, Fetterman Avenue or Lightstreet Road (from North Street to Penn Street) address. $125.00 / 6 months for parking on the aforementioned streets.

-The Hoppes Lot and “East Street Only” permits are $100.00 / 6 months.

-Permits valid for July 1, 2010 – December 31, 2010.

-Students must be present to get their permits and only one permit is issued per person. (Only a parent can obtain a permit for their son / daughter if the student cannot be present).

-A signed copy of their lease and vehicle registration is needed at time of purchase.

Street Sweeping Weeks 2010

The Town of Bloomsburg sweeps the streets in town during the weeks listed below. Be sure to find the DAY and TIME on your block. There will be 2 signs on every block. Do not park there for the entire time that is listed on the sign even if you have seen the sweeper come through. Failure to move your car during street sweeping times will result in a $20.00 fine.

August 16-20

September 20-24

October 18-22, 25-29

November 1-5, 8-12, 15-19, 22-24
